He worked at Norwich School and Rugby School before moving to London in 2014.

Commenting on his appointment, he said, "I am excited to be returning to Scotland to join the St George’s family. I am passionate about the value of an all-girls’ education and seeing every student thrive and reach their full potential. I look forward to getting to know everyone in the school community and helping to strengthen the pastoral provision to ensure that every girl is confident to face the challenges of tomorrow."
