Art Spark: Free Community Art Sessions for P5, P6 & P7 Girls

This May, St George's School is transforming art education with its innovative ART SPARK community art sessions, designed to inspire girls in P5, P6, and P7. Led by passionate Art Teacher Lorna Grey, these free workshops are for external families with daughters in our local community.

"Art lessons were my sanctuary and the one place I felt truly free to express myself," Grey shares. Her own artistic journey – from achieving an early grade A to studying at Sunderland University's National Glass Centre – has shaped her teaching philosophy. "I really find enjoyment in sharing my creative passion ," she explains. "I look forward to running this exciting workshop with our community." 

Running every Friday from 1-3pm throughout May, ART SPARK offers guided activities, expert instruction, and all materials provided in a supportive creative environment. Located at St George's School Art Department, the sessions also offer a comfortable space for parents, with on-street parking and a welcoming café nearby.
