Celebrating European Day of Languages Across the School

On 26 September, the whole school got involved in celebrating European Day of Languages! Students and staff got involved in a variety of activities which included a creative competition to construct famous landmarks using biscuits with the Science Department’s depiction of the 'plaza de torros’ emerging victorious!

Our Junior School students made flags representing their cultural identities and wore clothes in their flag’s colours. The assemblies held throughout the week culminated on the 27 September and allowed everyone in our school community to showcase the wide variety of languages spoken within our school. These types of celebrations allow us to encourage unity and cultural appreciation!
