Cross Country Success: Lothian League and Scottish Schools Road Race

Cross Country Lothian League

Students from Primary 6 to Lower 4 have been representing St George's at the Lothian League Cross Country. Hosted at various locations across the city, students have raced in blazing sunshine at Inverleith Park to horizontal rain at Holyrood Park. Students compete as both individuals and as a team. Each student has contributed to the team well, with multiple top 10 finishes for Gigi and Zarah. 

The Primary team is currently sitting in 2nd position overall. Bess has also had multiple good performances in the S1-S2 categories.

Scottish Schools Road Race 

The Scottish Schools' Athletic Association (SSAA) Road Race Championships was held at Pittencrieff Park in Dunfermline, Scotland. Eight of our Cross Country runners took on the hilly course. Competing on such a course requires determination and resilience, and it's always inspiring to see our girls rise to the challenge!
