Exploring the Digital Library: Lower School Students Discover BorrowBox
Thanks to a new set of iPads in Lower School Library, we’ve been exploring BorrowBox during library lessons this term.
BorrowBox is the digital extension of our school library, allowing users to download ebooks and audiobooks for free anywhere and anytime. All Lower School students learned how to navigate the app, find books they might enjoy, and customise their reading and listening settings. An especially useful feature of BorrowBox ebooks is the ability to change the font, adjusting the size and style – including the option to make any ebook dyslexia friendly!
That being said, audiobooks are always the most popular among our readers. We have Lower School favourites like Murder Most Unladylike by Robin Stevens and The Extremely Embarrassing Life of Lottie Brooks by Katie Kirby. Some even like to listen along while they read their print books!
Head to stge.borrowbox.com or download the app to check out our BorrowBox library! The school’s BorrowBox service has access to around 250+ ebooks and 220+ audiobooks. Stay on the lookout as our collection is continually growing.
