HMS Prince of Wales Aircraft Carrier Trip

On Wednesday 3^rd of May, Upper Four went on a trip to see the HMS Prince of Wales. We had an extremely enjoyable time and we learned so much about the Royal Navy that we didn’t know before.

During the tour, we visited different areas of the ship including the control room. We also saw where the ship is steered from––and sat in the captain's seat! We also experienced a ‘crash on deck’ drill––and much more.

The very final part of the trip was when we were able to explore many parts of working in the Royal Navy––we held rifles (which were much heavier than expected), tried on firefighter clothes, and steered a remote-control aircraft carrier.

The trip was really informative and fun, and it was a great experience.
