Lower School Embraces 'REUSE' for Eco Day
24 Jun 2024
For Lower School Eco Day students participated in a wide range of activities and talks. This year's focus was 'REUSE,' where students created new items from old materials. Projects included transforming milk jugs into bird feeders, bottles into decorative flowers, books into hedgehogs, old tops into blankets, and tires into seats.
During the day students also engaged in several talks from Royal Highland Education Trust, Edinburgh and Midlothian Beekeepers Association and Climate Talks aimed to inform students in a wide range of environmental topics from the very small to the very big.
It was a fantastic day and the students all engaged fantastically in the activities on offer. A big thank you to Mrs Crawford for putting the day together!
