Netball Success in the Scottish Cup
This season, we entered four teams into the Netball Scottish Cup, all of whom made a strong and positive start. Each team displayed exceptional netball skills, highlighting their teamwork and determination.
Pool Games
Over a short span of three weeks, our teams played an impressive total of 14 games.
For the first time, all our teams advanced to the Cup competition.
Next came the 1st Round of Regional Knockout Rounds:
- The L4 team faced James Gillespie’s, securing a dominant 28–9 victory.
- The U4 team travelled to a chilly Strathallan venue but kept their spirits high and teamwork strong, achieving a 19–9 win.
- The L5 team took on their old rivals, Royal High School, and triumphed with a commanding 30–10 score.
- The Senior team faced a highly experienced Balerno side. Despite an incredible fightback from being 7 goals down to levelling the score in the final quarter, they narrowly lost. Their determination and effort were commendable.
Congratulations to our L4, U4, and L5 teams for making it to the Top 16 schools in the Scottish Cup! Best of luck in your next games this January.
