Sports Highlights: Tennis, Athletics & Netball

Tennis

Congratulations to Anushka, Mairi, Florence and Hannah for winning their division in Year 9 and Year 10 LTA teams. They put in a great effort and determination to see off tough competition.

We also were delighted for our U14A tennis team Anushka and Anna for taking top spot at Kilgraston Invitational Tennis Tournament. They also won the U14 overall championship with Francesca and Niamh! Well done!

During the holidays, Anushka (L5) participated in European Tennis Federation Kopavagour Open in Iceland. She reached the top 16 in the U14 singles competition and won silver in U14 doubles competition. Well done Anushka!

Athletics

We had some great results in the Lower School for the Edinburgh Primary School Sports Association Interscholastic athletics event. The team won the girls category, lifting the Queen Mary Jubilee Cup! Well done team! On the day, they took silver in the long jump as well as bronze in the 600m, 80m and girls relay events! Bravo, we are very proud of the team.

Netball

Congratulations to Victoria (U4), Kari (L4), Mrs Fourie and the Inverleith Swifts Netball Club who won the Scottish U13 Netball Cup on 13th May. Well done all!
