St George's Community Raises Over £2,400 for Men's Health

St George's staff have come together to raise an impressive £2,408 for the Movember charity campaign. Led by Stephen Hannay this year, the initiative saw enthusiastic participation across the school community.

"A huge thank you to the St George's members of staff who helped raise £2,408 for Movember that goes towards charities that raise awareness of and support men's health," said Hannay. "In particular men's mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer that are the major reasons for men dying too young, causes close to many of our hearts."

The funds raised will support vital men's health programs, and Movember has thanked St George's for "helping to change the face of men's health."
