St George's Recognised at Scottish Cyber Awards: Celebrating Our Commitment to Technology Education

We're delighted to share that St George's was recently nominated for the prestigious Scottish Cyber Awards (SCA 25), recognising our commitment to cybersecurity education. While Stirling High School took home the top prize this year, we're proud of our school's achievements in this important field.
Our Computer Science teacher, Jack Walker, has been instrumental in developing our technology programmes, particularly through the annual "Women in Computing" event. This year's event welcomed over 600 students from P6 to Sixth Form, offering hands-on experiences across three tracks: Code, Lead, and Innovate.

With support from over 20 companies and the attendance of Scotland's Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, this event continues to inspire young women to explore careers in technology and cybersecurity.
Thank you to i-confidential for hosting us at the awards ceremony, and to all our partners who help make these opportunities possible for our students.
