Upper 4 Hockey End-of-Season Round-Up

The U4 hockey teams had a great season, showcasing skill, determination and teamwork. A major highlight was their performance in the East District Tournament, where the A team reached the Plate semi-final. In a nail-biting finish, they narrowly missed the final after a dramatic running penalty shootout.

The U4 A team delivered a standout performance against Heriot’s, securing a dominant 4-0 victory with exceptional teamwork. The winning momentum carried through the morning, as the B team also triumphed with a hard-fought 1-0 win. Another highlight for the U4 B team was their strong 3-1 victory over Glasgow Academy, demonstrating their team cohesion. We wrapped up the season by celebrating some outstanding individual achievements. Oonagh and Eve were named Coaches' Players of the Year for their dedication and performance. Emilia and Mimi earned Most Improved Player awards for their progress through the year, while Katie and Sophie were honoured as Players' Players of the Year, recognized by their teammates for their contributions on and off the field.

It was a season filled with enthusiasm, competitive spirit and impressive progress from all players. Well done to everyone involved!
