Voices of Change: TEDx Fountainbridge 2025

TEDx Fountainbridge took place on Friday 21 March with this year’s theme being Voices of Change. Rose (U6) gave an eloquent talk on Ghosts of the Mountains: Snow Leopard Conservation in a Changing World and was joined by students from Fettes College, George Heriot’s School and Boroughmuir High School, along with two St George’s alumnae, who gave talks on a range of issues and ideas relating to change.
This year’s event was a joint venture between St George’s School and Boroughmuir High School and marks the end of St George’s TEDx trilogy, which has offered young people the opportunity to share their voice on a vast array of ideas or issues. TEDx is a grassroots initiative created in the spirit of TED’s overall mission to research and discover ‘ideas worth spreading’; it has been St George’s pleasure to bring the spirit of TED to the local community in Edinburgh over the last three years.
