Year 7/8 LTA Tennis Team Represents St George's on the National Stage

Congratulations to the Year 7/8 LTA Tennis Team!

The team’s remarkable journey began back in April, when they entered the LTA Tennis Tournament, representing St George’s with determination and skill. Competing against schools from across Scotland, the team showcased their exceptional abilities and teamwork to secure the title of top school in the country—a phenomenal achievement in itself.

Following this success, they progressed to the North Region stage, where they faced challenging matches against some of the best schools in England. With grit and focus, they emerged victorious, becoming the leading school in the North Region and earning a well-deserved place in the prestigious national final.

A few weeks ago, the team travelled to Bolton for the grand final, where they competed against the top three schools from across the UK. The national final was a showcase of talent and hard work, with the St George’s team demonstrating outstanding skill, resilience, and sportsmanship in every match.

This incredible achievement is a testament to their dedication, countless hours of practice, and unwavering team spirit.
