How to Apply for a Place in the Nursery
This guide will take you step-by-step through the Nursery application process to ensure it is as smooth and straightforward as possible.
Step 1: Learning about the Nursery
Before applying for a place for your child, we encourage you to explore everything our Nursery has to offer. This will help you decide if our Nursery is the right fit for your family. Here are some of the ways you can find out about our Nursery:
- Visit the nursery section on the website: Read about our curriculum, facilities, and teaching approach.
- Book a visit to tour the Nursery and meet our Nursery staff: Experience the Nursery in person by booking a guided tour to meet the nursery team.
- Read our nursery reviews provided by our parents. We have over 70 parent reviews and a review score of 9.9 out of 10 on Daynurseries.com.
- Join us at our Come and Play sessions on Friday Mornings: Musical, Messy Play, Little Lingo and Bounce and Rhyme Times sessions. These are free sessions every Friday morning at 11 am and booked via Eventbrite for pre-school children.
- Contact the admissions team: We want to get to know you and your family. Let us help you decide whether our nursery is suitable for your family. Call our admissions team who will answer all your questions.
- Follow us on our Nursery Instagram account. This will give you regular updates on the day-to-day events and activities in the nursery.
- Stay in the know: Join our vibrant community: Sign-up for our enews which is sent once or twice a term with highlights of the term's events.
- Speak to a parent with a child in the Nursery: Our admissions team can put you in contact with one of our parents to find out first-hand about their experience of our Nursery.
Step 2: Complete the application form
To apply for a place in our Nursery:
- Access the online Application Form:
- Fill out an online nursery application form.
- Submit the completed form through our website.
Step 3: Attend a parent meeting and child visit
Once we receive your application, we will:
- Schedule a meeting: A friendly meeting with our Nursery team to discuss your child's needs, routines, and to answer any questions you may have.
- Arrange a child visit: Your child will be invited to spend a short session in the Nursery to get a feel for the environment and meet some of our staff.
We want this to be a positive experience for both you and your child.
Step 4: Receive an offer
After the visit:
- Review and decision: Our admissions team will carefully review your application.
- Offer letter: You will receive a formal offer of a place in the nursery via email. Offers are subject to availability and suitability following the visit. See our nursery admissions play session and admissions policy.
- Acceptance deadline: Confirm your acceptance by the date specified in the offer.
- To accept the offer: Complete the Acceptance Form and submit a deposit to secure your child’s place.
Step 5: Prepare for the first day
Once you have accepted the offer:
