Mr Alistair Stewart, Council Member, St George's School, Edinburgh

Alistair Stewart joined the Council of St George’s in 2023 and sits on the Education Committee. He studied Painting at Edinburgh College of Art before entering the education profession, completing his PGDE at the University of Glasgow. Following a career of teaching leading to school leadership roles, Alistair is currently on secondment to East Lothian Council as an Education Quality Improvement Officer.

A passionate supporter of the arts, Alistair enjoys music, theatre, dance and the visual arts. He also enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors.
