Mr Phil Anderton, Council Member, St George's School, Edinburgh

Phil joined the Council of St George’s in 2023. He studied Management with International Relations at St Andrews University and went on to work in the UK and overseas in brand management at Procter and Gamble and The Coca-Cola Company. He then became involved in sport acting as chief executive in various roles in rugby, football and tennis. He is currently Chief Development Officer at The R&A, a global governing body for golf.

He has three children, who are former pupils of St George’s.

He enjoys playing golf, spending time with his family and country walks with the dogs.
