Brigit Forsyth initially trained as a secretary after leaving St George's, but ultimately pursued acting - her true calling. The Scottish native attended RADA, winning the Emile Littler Award, before enjoying a prolific career spanning TV, film and stage over six decades.
Best known for roles like Thelma in 'Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads' and Helen in 'Boon', her credits included 'Doctor Who', 'Poirot', 'Calendar Girls' and more. Forsyth, who passed away in 2023 at age 83, credited St George's for instilling her love of performing.
