Jonathan Raynor, Teacher of Music, Coordinator of Lower School Music and EPQ, St George's Music Department
Jonathan began his teaching career at the Manchester Grammar School in 2011, working as a Teaching Assistant within their Music Department. After completing his PGCE, he moved to Scotland in 2013 where he taught Music at Fettes College for two years before moving to St George’s School in 2015. Jonathan’s responsibilities at St George’s School include teaching classroom music from Remove (Primary 7) to Upper 6. He teaches GCSE, Higher and Advanced Higher Music at St George's; additionally, he was also responsible for introducing Music Technology to the curriculum at St George's, and has experience teaching SQA National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher Music Technology. Jonathan is the Coordinator of Lower School Music and directs a number of ensembles including Senior Orchestra and Lower School Choir. He has also directed numerous Musicals during his time at both St George's and in his previous teaching roles. Jonathan is the EPQ Coordinator for St George's School.
