“Having been taught by many inspirational teachers, I decided to pursue a teaching career myself in the hope that I could make a difference to young people. In particular, I want to help our students build the confidence to seize positive opportunities, appreciate the importance of trying their best, and, of course, to pass on my passion for languages. Fortunately, St George’s girls are enthusiastic and always willing to have a go! During my time here, it’s been so rewarding to help pupils adopt positive mindsets around what they can achieve, both in language learning and as individuals. In Modern Languages, our curriculum promotes inclusion, diversity and understanding across cultures while developing many life-skills: from communication, and interpersonal skills to problem-solving and leadership. I especially enjoy watching our senior students grow into independent, confident linguists.”
