Head of Middle School
I’m proud to be part of a school that nurtures both academic excellence and personal growth, empowering students to become confident, compassionate, and well-rounded individuals.
Following an education in an all-girls grammar school, I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Liverpool, followed by a PGDE from Edinburgh University.
I began my career at St George’s, initially on a student teaching placement before starting as a Geography teacher in 2015, and then moving into leadership roles, including Principal Teacher of International Education, where I led our Erasmus project with partner schools in Italy and Austria.
During my time as Deputy Head of Middle School, I particularly enjoyed building meaningful relationships with our students, helping them become the best version of themselves. The Middle School age group is an exciting time where girls are naturally curious and eager to explore, increasingly independent and beginning to discover their unique interests and passions. With the right guidance and opportunities, students at this age make significant progress in their academic journey and lay strong foundations for future success. In my role as Head of Middle School, I am dedicated to supporting girls as they navigate this pivotal stage of growth.
I’m also passionate about travel and have had the pleasure of supporting various domestic and international trips, including our Middle School Outdoor Education camps, Geography trips to Arran and Iceland, and International Expeditions to Nepal and Costa Rica.
