A love of travel and discovering new cultures, cuisines, and destinations has been a significant part of my life since childhood. This interest was inspired by my nana, who would share captivating stories of her adventures while I pored over her travel guides. As a teacher herself, and inspired by my own educators, I was drawn to both the power of learning and the richness of global experiences. This inspiration led me to pursue a degree in Geography and Politics at the University of Glasgow. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students from diverse backgrounds at a British International School in the Middle East, as well as in London and the Scottish Borders. I joined St George’s in 2021 and currently hold the posts of Deputy Head of Sixth Form and Head of Geography. It is incredibly rewarding to witness students thrive academically and personally at St George’s, especially during such a formative stage of their lives. Helping students flourish and develop into confident, curious, independent and capable young adults is at the heart of everything we do, and it is an honor to be a part of their journey.
